Back to Biscuit this evening to finalize the open items, and I got straight into the work by first giving the decks and cabin top a good wipe down. With a rag and fresh water, I removed all debris and pine straw stains from the decks and cabin top. The open-ended pole barn allows a lot of dust in as well, so this was cleaned off.

Next, I pulled the tape from the cockpit well, revealing clean lines and fresh paint. I installed the freshly varnished and renewed tiller. I moved the boom into the cabin for transport, tucking it snugly into the port side quarter berth. Before covering Biscuit with a plastic tarp, I installed the new bronze hull plate, bedded with Stikaflex and secured with two bronze screws - my gift to the owner and this lovely Alberg addition to US waters!

My final task was to put a final coat of varnish on the drop boards, and that was a wrap. Before heading out, I gathered materials and components taken off of Biscuit when she first arrived, readying her for her journey back to Alabama waters. Loading the mast in her new cradle will come in the following days.
